The knives shown here are knives from a wholesale store on the outskirts of Sakai known as Ichimonji Chuki. Ichimonji Chuki has been making knives since 1952.

I would rank Ichimonji Chuki as the third best knife manufacturer in Japan. This is because they make all of their knives one by one and customize them for each customer.
In 2006, I requested three knives from them and had the chance to use them. I had a 300mm Kiritsuke and a 300mm Yanagiba. After sharpening them and using them for about eight weeks, they became very easy to use.
While Ichimonji Chuki is a very good knife company, they unfortunately do not sell their knives in the U.S.
