Here are some knives made by Aritsugu. They have a knife making history of close to 200 years. Up to the year 1995, they were the top knife manufacturer in Japan, but they were a little slow at adopting new technology, and as a result, no longer hold the top spot. I own some Aritsugu Mizu-Honyaki knives, and have been using them for about four years. They are very high quality knives. Mutual Trading Company/MTC of L.A. currently deals these knives.
